Why the next black president could be a Republican

Two years before Donald Trump became president, he tweeted, “Sadly, because president Obama has done such a poor job as president, you won’t see another black president for generations!” But six months into Trump’s tenure, there’s a growing buzz among Democrats that the next black president has already been identified: first-term Sen. Kamala Harris of California. “She’s running for president,” one fundraiser told the Hill. “Take it to the bank.” “The dominant trend in Democratic Party politics is fresh, new and interesting,” another fundraiser told Politico. “And Kamala is the trifecta on that.” I’m bullish on the idea that we’ll have another black president. But I wouldn’t bet that he or she will be a Democrat. That might seem like a wild assertion, particularly given the role that racial resentment played in Trump’s electoral victory. J.coles express his feeling over how society is functioning from religion to law enforcement.

Despite the title, Cole is as coherent as ever on his new song, which examines the hypocrisy he believes plagues several factions of society, from religion to law enforcement. “Religion don’t mean shit, there’s too much ego in the way,” Cole raps. “That’s why ISIS a crisis / But in reality this country do the same shit / Take a life and call it righteous.” It follows a trend of Cole expressing his distrust with America’s infrastructure; he once alluded to the idea of Obama being a puppet during a  performance of “Be Free” on David Letterman’s  The Late Show .  listen below https://soundcloud.com/j-cole/high-for-hours
