Eighteen years after Eazy-E's death -- he died on March 26th, 1995, reportedly at the hands of AIDS -- his daughter E.B. Wright is working on a documentary about the late rapper's life

Eighteen years after Eazy-E's death -- he died on March 26th, 1995, reportedly at the hands of AIDS -- his daughter E.B. Wright is working on a documentary about the late rapper's life, "A lot of people don't know the truth behind his death," says Wright. "There's definitely a story out there of how people think he died but a lot of it is a misconception, so I think it's time to tell the story of exactly what happened." Titled A Ruthless Scandal, the documentary will center on The N.W.A. founder's untimely death and feature a variety of his closest friends and family. Wright was only four years of age when he passed, and the documentary appears to be a way for she herself to make sense of her dad's life. "I'm going to have interviews with everyone," she explains. Though Beyonce fired her longtime manager, Mathew Knowles, in 2011, she has never fully addressed her reasons for severing professional ties with her father, until now. At the time, the singer's decision was rumored to have been a consequence of her parents' 2009 divorce, and subsequent reports that her Knowles had fathered a son out of wedlock with actress Alexsandra Wright. In an hour-long interview with Oprah Winfrey, which will air on Oprah's OWN network just before Beyonce's  Life is But a Dream  doc premieres on HBO, Beyonce reveals that it was actually her relationship with her father, rather than his extramarital affair, which inspired her decision. "It took a while for me and my dad to have an understanding. When I turned 18 and started handling my business more, he went into shock. And we had our issues. I'd say 'no' to something, and he'd book it anyway. Then I'd have to do it because I'd look bad [if I didn't]," Bey

Minnesota House set to vote on gay marriage bill

The Democratic-led state Legislature in Minnesota is expected to begin a final push on Thursday toward making it the 12th U.S. state to extend marriage rights to same-sex couples and the third this month after Delaware and Rhode Island. Leaders in Minnesota's state House of Representatives have scheduled a vote for Thursday to advance a bill recognizing same-sex marriage, which would be followed by a vote in the state Senate on Monday, party spokesmen have said. Democratic Governor Mark Dayton has indicated that he supports making same-sex marriage legal in the state and has been pressing lawmakers for their backing. House Speaker Paul Thissen had said he would not put the measure to the full House if leaders did not believe it had the support to pass. It is unclear if any Republicans will support the bill, but Democrats hold a 73-61 majority. Opponents of the proposal have questioned whether the rights of religious groups and individuals who believe that marriage should
